以下は日本語です 👇 Hi friends, I did a thing… or two… I k 以下は日本語です 👇 Hi friends, I did a thing… or two… I know it’s been a little while since I last shared some news of things that have been going on. I’m sure the more keen of you have already realised a lot of what I’m going to say, but here it is anyway. So yeah, I found a place in the mountains in Nagano and moved there. I’ve been doing bits and pieces to the house, mainly working on the outside, growing veggies, and started the studio. I did the foundation work and made a roof (with help from some amazing locals) for what would be the kiln area. Also… I built a kiln, and I’m going to fire it next month! If any of you are keen to come and take part in the firing, I’d love to have you here planning to start September 16–17th. DM me if you’re interested and we’ll sort out the details. I’ve filmed most of the process and will post it to YouTube soon. I literally just made some finishing touches to the kiln today — still need to do the chimney, but apart from that, she’s good. Still thinking of a name for her, but that will come in time. P.S. My studio kiln is set up now, so I’ll be selling more cups on my website soon — please get in touch if you’re interested in purchasing any. I did a test firing and there’s some ready to go! Also looking forward to the future and potentially hosting wood firing workshops etc. Big love,
Stephen やあみんな、実は色々やってました… しばらく近況報告できていなかったけど、勘のいい人はもう気づいてるかもね。とりあえず報告します。 長野の山の中に物件を見つけて引っ越しました。家の外回りを中心にコツコツ手を入れながら、野菜を育てたり、工房作りを始めたりしてます。地元の方々の力も借りて、窯場になる部分の基礎工事と屋根作りをしました。 そして…窯を作りました!来月焚くつもりです。もし窯焚きに参加したいという人がいたら、ぜひ来てほしいです。9月16〜17日からスタートする予定です。興味があればDMください、詳細を相談しましょう。 作業のほとんどを撮影していて、近いうちにYouTubeにアップする予定です。今日ちょうど窯の仕上げ作業をしたところで、あとは煙突を残すのみ、それ以外はもうバッチリです。 窯の名前はまだ考え中だけど、そのうち決まると思います。 追伸:工房の窯が使えるようになったので、近々ウェブサイトでカップの販売を再開します。興味のある方はぜひご連絡ください。試し焼きをしてみたら、もう販売できるものがいくつかあります!それから、将来的には薪窯のワークショップなども開催できたらいいなと考えています。 たくさんの愛を込めて、
